The Challenge

Your Leaders Need Coaching – But One-Off Engagements Don’t Scale

Most nonprofit leaders discover coaching on their own – one person at a time. The benefit stays with one individual while the rest of the leadership team goes without. When coaching is managed ad hoc, your organization misses the compounding effect of developing multiple leaders simultaneously.

“I’m deeply immersed in day-to-day operations so that I have little time for strategy or development. I feel stuck in the cycle of not enough resources to get the funding we need, and not enough funding to get the resources we need.”

— Nonprofit Executive Director

Organizational coaching solves this. One point of contact, streamlined enrollment for every leader who needs support, and volume pricing that makes it even more affordable than individual sign-ups.

The Model

How Organizational Coaching Works at CNPC

One organization, multiple leaders, ongoing development – all managed through a single point of contact.

HR Initiates the Program

Your HR director, COO, or people leader becomes the single point of contact. They identify staff members who would benefit from coaching and submit applications on their behalf.

Individual Matching

Each participant is matched with their own ICF-credentialed volunteer coach based on leadership challenges, sector experience, and development goals.

Parallel 6-Session Engagements

All participants work through 6 focused coaching sessions simultaneously. Each engagement is independent and confidential, but coordinated through one administrative channel.

Streamlined Administration

One invoice, one contact, one renewal process. Your HR team manages the entire program without tracking individual contracts, coaches, or schedules.

How volume pricing works

Pricing is based on the number of people enrolled from your organization over a rolling 12-month period. All participants receive the same 6-session coaching engagement with their own ICF-credentialed coach. Your organization is invoiced once – no individual billing.

Standard individual coaching rate for large organizations is $600 per person. Organizational pricing starts at $500 for groups of 3–5.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions About Organizational Coaching

What is organizational coaching, and how is it different from individual coaching?
Organizational coaching provides multiple leaders within one nonprofit access to individual coaching through a single HR-managed program. Each person gets their own coach and confidential sessions. The difference is in how it’s administered – one point of contact, one invoice, volume pricing – not in the coaching itself.
Who is eligible for the organizational coaching program?
Any 501(c)(3) nonprofit, government agency, or analogous non-U.S. entity that wants to enroll 3 or more staff members in coaching. The program is managed by an HR director, COO, or designated people leader within your organization.
How does volume pricing work?
Pricing is based on the number of participants enrolled from your organization over a rolling 12-month period. 3–5 people: $500/person. 6–10 people: $400/person. 11+ people: $300/person. Each person receives 6 individual coaching sessions with their own ICF-credentialed coach.
Is coaching confidential? Will HR receive session details?
Coaching sessions are completely confidential between the coach and coachee. CNPC provides program-level updates to your HR contact – participation status, scheduling progress, satisfaction scores – but never shares what is discussed in individual sessions.
Can we stagger enrollments over time, or does everyone start at once?
Both. You can enroll all participants simultaneously or stagger applications across months. Volume pricing is based on rolling 12-month totals, so your organization accumulates credit as leaders enroll over time.
What coaching needs does the program address?
The most common coaching needs are team and staff management, strategic planning, change management, and organizational growth. Each participant identifies their own goals during the application process, and their coach tailors sessions accordingly. See our leadership development framework →
Can we use grant funding for organizational coaching?
Yes. Our pricing is designed to be grant-friendly. Many organizations include organizational coaching under professional development or capacity-building budget lines. Grant Budget Template →   Sample Grant Language →
How do we get started?
Start by applying online or contacting us to discuss your organization’s coaching goals. Your HR point of contact submits applications for each participant. We match coaches within 2–3 business days, and coaching sessions can begin immediately.
